WS-0,30B is used as part of the combined power station with solar panels for the energy supply of aircraft warning lights in the mountain areas in Svalbard. High winds in Svalbard create challenging operation conditions on-site. In areas with minimal sunlight during winter, wind is one of the only energy sources.
